In 1895, Oscar Wilde is released from prison and quickly moves to Paris to spend his final years in exile. His wife cuts off his allowance and his health begins to deteriorate. With his incomparable talent he continues to  entertain those around him. The director uses the film as a plea for tolerance. It's a moving portrait of one of our most revered storytellers.
